  1. The river needs a flush through and it will kick on.
Brimstone moths instead of stag beetles, not exactly a fair exchange is it?

    1. It needs something to give it a kick into gear!

I’m more than happy creeping about finding the Wye wildlife, still trying to find an Adder…

    2. I've never seen an adder near the Wye, some huge grass snakes but the adders are up in the hills.

    3. Have seen them on the riverbank, spooked one once landing a fish - it swam out and was eaten by a seagull :-( but yeah, seen some big grass snakes swimming about in there.

  2. Why, why, Wye. I will be on the Wye sun 28th for 3 days, if you can have it fixed by then please! I'd take 9 chub and a barbel you can keep the eels.

    1. It seems to be full of chub, and I’m spotting barbel - I just can’t catch them! Make sure you take Polaroids, so you can see what’s ignoring your bait!! Good luck, hopefully they’ll be on the feed by then.
